Skills and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance ,Accounting and Commerce , or a related field preferably B.com and BBA Graduates.
  2. Freshers or minimum 0-2 years experience in accounting.
  3. Chart of accounts
  4. Cost center and Budgeting
  5. Finance and controlling
  6. Should know the (procure to pay)Vendor Pricing and clearing payments.
  7. Raise the sales invoice (Order to Cash) and clearing payments.
  8. Ability to track, categorise, and manage various types of expenses such as Employee,Travel and Office Expenses.
  9. Should execute the Trial Balance report,Profit and loss Statement and Balance sheet.
  10. Should have knowledge in Asset accounting.
  11. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  12. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, ERPNext ).
  13. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  14. Time management and organizational skills.
  15. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


Responsiblities:

  1. Create Purchase invoice for the purchase order and ensure that the payments are made on time to the vendor.
  2. Create the Sales invoice for the sales order and follow up with the customers to check if we receive the payments on time.
  3. Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements).
  4. Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions and verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
  5. Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls and adhere to the company policies and procedures.
  6. Preparing and filing tax returns in a timely manner.
  7. Prepare special reports by studying variances; prepare budgets; developing forecasts.
  8. Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
  9. When validating the expense claim for the employee they should check if necessary documents are there and then approve the expense claim.
  10. They should speed up the process of the expense and settle the expenses on time.
  11. Calculate and record depreciation expense for fixed assets according to accepted accounting standards.
  12. Identify and implement strategies to optimise resource utilisation and minimise unnecessary expenses.
